The flow
Release
Orders released to a pick list, prioritised by promise date and capped by source location so no store or DC is stripped.
Pick and pack
Pick list by zone; pack list printed per order with copies and a print dialog where the operator needs one.
Label
Box labels counted from the shipped-box rule per product, so six labels means six boxes, not four.
Confirm
Shipment confirmed to the order, inventory relieved at the source, and the sale audited beside the stores.
What the solution includes
Pack list printing
Same form engine as the store receipts, with copies and dialog flags for the DC printer.
Pick-list prioritisation
Promise date first, then source capping, then zone; parallel-run against the current list before cut-over.
Web order import
Web orders land in the same order book as the stores, with their own site codes, so fulfilment and audit see one list.
Availability
Product availability to the web with a minimum on hand, so the last unit in a store is not sold online.
Fill rate and backlog
Order fill, unit fill, on-time and backlog ageing arrive with the WMS distribution module; until then the flow reports units, lines and documents.
